Automated tracking for non-returnable containers

Companies that handle containers in an open loop can now use RFID technology for automated tracking without losing the transponders at the end of the process as soon as the containers are shipping to the customers: IdentPro offers a tag with a magnetic holder.

There is no easier and faster way to label metal containers. At the end of the in-house processes you keep the tags when the containers are shipping to their destinations. That is saving time and money.

The transponders can be read by all commercial fixed and mobile UHF interrogators. There is a memory integrated to store e.g. process specific data. When finally taking off the tags they can be collected in a box equipped with a reader to delete the data stored or any links in databases respectively. The “virgin” tags are ready for new containers.

Using UHF transponders bears another advantage: containers can be identified at short distances and long distances alike with only one technology.
